Local Governance at Hunsley Primary

Hunsley Primary is part of the multi-academy trust, The Education Alliance, which was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee on 24 February 2011. The members of The Education Alliance have appointed a Board of Trustees and have given the Board of Trustees the authority to exercise all powers of the Academy Trust.

The Board of Trustees have developed a governance structure whereby a Local Governing Body is established to oversee the management of the provision in each of its academies. The Local Governing Body is a committee of the Board of Trustees and the Trustees are responsible for the appointment of Local Governors.

Hunsley Primary’s Local Governing Body has operated since September 2015.
