Striving for inclusion is at the heart of all we do. We know how essential it is to really understand our children’s needs and work closely with families to support and address those needs. This is vital for each child to get the very most out of the school experience from the day they are offered their place with us to the day they graduate to secondary school. This means being able to access the very best learning and having barriers to their progress lifted. We will champion our pupils and their needs at every turn.
Working with our Trust Inclusion and SEND team, as well as the experts available through the multi-agency specialists at hand, allows us to offer a wider range of support and help, as well as opening up a wealth of specific expertise for staff training. We are very proud of the fact that every child is an individual with their own unique learning needs and we strive to encourage the children to understand and share this idea through our Values.
In February, 2026, the Government published ‘Every Child Achieving and Thriving‘, the White Paper which outlines the DfE’s intentions for every child. This can be accessed here: LINK
If you would like to talk to a member of the team about your own child’s particular learning needs, we are always here to listen and to discuss the next steps in your child’s learning journey. You can make contact with us through our enquiries@hunsleyprimary.org.uk email address and we will get back in touch with you.
