Hunsley Primary has access to a unique network of support which is used to maximise the support and opportunities available to your child.
The Education Alliance is an established Multi Academy Trust, that is developing collaborative partnerships with academies across the Humber region.
Seeking excellence through inspirational leadership, collaboration, teamwork, innovation and challenge we work to ensure that all of us achieve our very best. The partnership between the six current academies; Hunsley Primary, North Cave Primary School, South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College, The Snaith School, Malet Lambert and Driffield School, has been very positive and has allowed each school to retain their own separate identities, whilst sharing the Trust’s strong vision and values.
The relationships between the academies in the Trust is one of equal partners with a common goal, working under guiding principles, drawing on each other’s strengths in order to overcome any weakness and respond robustly to any challenges.
The Trust aims to create a family of academies in the Humber region, enabling an increasing number of children and young people to fulfil their potential and providing them with greater access to a diverse range of opportunities when they leave school.

For our teachers, the partnership with Swanland School gives them a chance to share best practice with other local academy teachers from an outstanding primary school. The focus for teachers is very much on standards and gives them a chance to collaborate in developing outstanding classroom practices.
Chris Huscroft, CEO of the Swanland Trust, said:
“Swanland School already works closely with South Hunsley School and we are delighted to be able to extend this arrangement to Hunsley Primary, a school that shares our values for high standards in education. We’ll work in a long term partnership with the new school to continue to maximise local opportunities to deliver an outstanding education for the children and families living in the Swanland and Brough areas.”
The two schools work closely together in order to provide continuity and progression of learning from the age of 4 to 19. There are a number of ways in which teaching and learning links are formed, including sharing expert practice in subjects such as maths, science, English and modern foreign languages.
Another key benefit of being in the multi academy trust with South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College is the co-ordinated approach to mapping the curriculum, assessment and also to the smooth running of the Trust schools on a day-to-day basis.
All the benefits of the large secondary school’s outstanding systems, facilities, expertise and national contacts are shared by Hunsley Primary, such as the benefit associated with being part of both the Yorkshire Wolds Teacher Training partnership and the Wolds Teaching School Alliance for staff development and training.
