Exciting Drama Workshop

Being part of the Hunsley family of schools certainly has its benefits, giving Hunsley Primary the chance to draw on a wealth of subject specialist expertise and experience from South Hunsley School. Most recently, we have been lucky enough to set up a weekly drama workshop for our Reception children with Drama Specialist, Lucy De Gaye.

The children have been exploring Moonscapes through role play and tableaux, as well as enjoying interpreting music on a space theme – David Bowie, no less!

This week, the children found a letter from an alien who had always wanted to know about life on Earth and hoped that the children could help. They created ‘living pictures’ to send to him and certainly had a great time getting stuck in and exploring new drama techniques.

Lucy will be back in the spring term with a brand new workshop theme – we can’t wait to see what will be next!
