Find-Out Friday Fun – A Visit from the Police!

Reception pupils were very excited to welcome Detective Inspector Taylor and PCSO Kay to Hunsley Primary on our first Find-Out Friday last week. The children enjoyed hands-on learning, exploring the police vehicle, trying on real uniforms and creating their own finger-print mementos to take home and share with their families. To greet our guests, the class made their own helmets and a huge finger-print thank you card as part of our ‘People Who Help Us’ theme.

The children loved listening to our special visitors explaining how they help us every day and sharing some of their experiences and stories with the class. We now have some budding detectives ready to track down clues and solve mysteries – all part of developing curious, enquiring minds.
