HP Families – Welcome back!

I hope that this finds everyone well, having had a great half term break. The children have made a super start to the second half of term, and we know how much they will have in the diaries in the run-up to Christmas! 

A heart-felt ‘thank you’ for the donations of food and other essentials for our foodbank collection. We know that these things matter and can make a real difference to families. It is incredibly thoughtful of you to offer time and donations. 

On Friday, the children took part in a House Team Development Day. These are the days where the children work in House Teams to learn something altogether, and the focus this year is on Leadership, Community and Sustainability.

You might have been talking at home about local food, sustainable food miles and how to manage food waste! Well done, everyone!   

We also kick-started our Cut Your Carbon project, with an assembly from the Eco-Team – don’t forget to send in pictures of your child doing the challenges, if you would like to share them!

Finally, congratulations to the winner of our 10-Year Anniversary Postcard Competition! 

I look forward to sending some of these special postcards home!
