Hunsley Primary Newsletter – Tuesday 20 October

As the half term draws to a close and we are gearing up for the season’s activities, I want to say how well the children have done with their schoolwork efforts and their attendance! We have been really impressed to see that they have come in, got stuck in and really tackled the challenges. After the holiday, the term is full of activity and extra-curricular events – we really look forward to seeing the children getting involved in everything school has to offer.

Thank you to our families who have donated food for the Food Bank collection – this is super. We will take the food to the nearest bank for others to benefit from your kind donations.

Please don’t forget to come to our Maths ParentLearn tonight (Tuesday) at 3.45pm, where you and your child can get stuck into some maths games and then learn about how we teach and support maths in school – all welcome!

This will really help with supporting your children at home with their maths and hopefully you’ll have some fun, too!

If you are interested in working with us at Hunsley Primary, as a TA, please go to our TEAL website for the link to two posts which are advertised and will close on Friday 23 October.

Don’t forget, the HPPPs are running the Halloween Discos this Thursday and we are looking forward to seeing the children there.

We wish you all a super holiday when it comes round and very much hope you and your family enjoy the seasonal events and activities happening over the next few weeks! We will see everyone again on the 2 November.

Yours sincerely,

Lucy Hudson
