Hunsley Primary Site Update

As the new project development plan for Brough South is released, clearly showing the position of our permanent school building, the Department for Education has confirmed that they will be directly funding and driving the completion of our permanent site, having taken over leadership of the development programme on behalf of Hunsley Primary. A design team has been appointed by the Department and the team has already accessed the Brough South site to begin work on planning for the new school.

We have full planning permission granted for Hunsley Primary to be based in the fully refurbished former Youth Centre building on the South Hunsley campus. Contractors have been appointed and are ready to start on the conversion in early May. All work will be finished by August ready for the September opening.
