Toys of the Past

Our Big Question that the children are exploring this half term is ‘What makes a great playspace?’ As part of this Reception are investigating a wide range of toys and getting to grips with how they work.

In the spirit of hands on investigation on Friday 15 January we welcomed parents and grandparents to the school to reminisce and show the pupils some toys from their childhood. The variety of toys, memories and photos was wonderful, ranging from Sindy to shop tills and cars to hoola hoops.

Thank you to our parents and grandparents for sparing their time and sharing the toys from their past with us.This was a really rewarding experience for the pupils and staff alike and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
