Rebecca Pickering

After completing her BA Hons Primary Teaching Degree and gaining QTS, Becca joined the Hunsley Primary team as a Teaching Assistant at the end of 2020.

During her university placements and gap year tutoring, Becca worked in a wide range of schools, facilitating opportunities to support children with a range of additional needs. Becca is very excited to work with the team and apply her knowledge of education, particularly her maths specialism, to working with the pupils at Hunsley Primary and supporting them to reach their full potential.

Becca is currently developing the literacy support programme offered by the school, working closely with Lucy Hudson in the delivery of screening and intervention programmes, such as Lexia and GL Assessment tools.
